Had some fun recently participating in the 3 Minute Thesis competition here at the University of Alberta. It was a real challenge to create a talk about my thesis that could only be 3 minutes long and understandable to a member of the general public.
Just a quick update about something I was super excited for. When we submitted our last paper (Odat et al., 2014) we were asked to also submit an image to be considered for the cover of the issue. As it turns out our image was selected and is the cover image for the issue that contains our article.
